About
What is Cunning Linguists?
It's HUTV's language-learning comedy show!
Designed to peak interest in foreign language learning for an older audience, Cunning Linguists integrates vocabulary and culture with college themes and situations. As a result of such, some content, such as euphemisms for certain body parts, may not be suitable for children.
If you ever wanted to learn more slang, idioms, and the words omitted from your textbook, Cunning Linguists is a good place to start!
All episodes run less than 10 minutes and the Cunning Linguists team will also be putting out "quickies," which will include "vocabursts" and other brief educational videos that will supplement our main episodes for more serious language learning.
Cunning Linguists is a product of Harvard College Languages at Work, a student organization aimed at making language learning fun and taking it into the 21st century with innovative approaches, from thematic student gatherings, debates and conversations, outings into Boston, blogging, and video.
