Daniel Garber has a passion for filmmaking. He has enjoyed creating movies and short videos in the past, but this is his first webseries.
Writers
Yasha Saxena's dream job is to be a screenwriter for a comedy series and films in general. Her heroes are Tina Fey and Sophia Coppola. This has been her first experience writing for a web show.
David Hollin wrote/co-wrote several episodes for Beats. He considers media arts to be his greatest passion and is excited to enroll at the USC School of Cinematic Arts next year.
Shreya Lakhan-Pal loves writing as an editor for her school newspaper and in her free time. She was thrilled to write the screenplay for several episodes in "Beats."
Although Kaitlin Lee has written other short stories and plays, "Beats" is the first time anyone has read her work aloud.
Actors
Leslie Sherman, who plays Brooke, loves acting and Latin America. She can't wait to go to NYU in the fall and live right in the middle of the theatre and film as well as the immense culture of New York City!
Manisha Rai, who plays Maya, will be going to UC Berkeley next year. This is her first encounter with acting. Coincidentally, she is the Editor-in-Chief of her school newspaper.
Chelsea Choi, who plays Candace, enjoys frequent bathroom excursions and playing Halo. POOOOOOOOOP.
Ariana Kashani has not acted since the 7th grade, but she enjoyed playing Jasmine in "Beats".
Rodd Talebi, who plays Amir, will be attending Foothill College and majoring in mathematics in the hopes of becoming a math teacher. Currently, he has two years of acting experience and he would like to continue acting on the side, while in school.
Theodore (Teddy) Peng, who plays Winston, enjoys being the Associated Student Body President, track athlete, and great student. "Beats" is his first time acting, but he was thrilled to bring out his inner-nerd.
Will Benner, who plays Enrique, is a first-time actor and, like Enrique, he enjoys ghost riding and playing Halo.
